Judging from the state of the car before he hit the monument, I think it's safe to say he smashed his way through a couple of other things before. I don't think a standard barricade that is used during events like this would have stopped him.Jebus wrote:

You'd expect to have a security cordon that no one can get a car through, and you'd usually have a bunch of security vehicles in front and behind so that anyone that got through would still have to get past those. The Dutch are pretty lax about security though, this kind of stuff doesn't happen in Holland.FlemishHCmaniac wrote:
