Maybe if you had ever chaffed your nipples you would know the pain this can cause. I play hockey and frankly, Im fucking shit hot at it (even if I do say so myself), most of the time we play on sand based astro turfs and as it suggests it's like sand paper. You fall on that shit and you leave your skin behind. A few games a season we play away games on water based pitches. The pitches get watered before the match and at half time by huge sprinklers which make you run for cover. You can fall on this shit and slide. As you know Im 'a bit differen't' and will score a goal and go off on a one man celebration and do a 'Klinsman', (run to the corner and slide on my belly). On sand based you don't slide but end up coverd in blood and grazes but on water based you slide and burn.
On sand based you can cause damage to your nipples and often leave them hanging by a thread but on water based you just go 'weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'a across the pitch and do no lasting damage to your nipples or surrounding tit.
