Recently got a new computer and tried to play some BF but when I go into a join server game it comes up with the blue screen and starts dumping physical memory. This doesn't happen when I make a single player or create a local game. I've tried reinstalling, repatching, playing around with video card settings, lan settings, safe mode, firewall, and pretty much everything I can think of. A bit about my computer:

Asus M3N78-VM motherboard
AMD Phenom X4 9950 2.6GHz
2X2GB RAM
Radeon HD 4870 1 GB GDDR5 PCIE
700W PSU
over 400GB left on the harddrive that bf is installed on

Anyone have anything to try that I have left out? I need my BF fix:P

What BF cd's do you have. If you have the deluxe edition, install it and SF but do not patch to 1.41. Instead download from a site and when its done use that to patch it.

The deluxe edition has been known to cause problems like this and download the patch from an alternative source usally fixes the problem.
