Please. Also I don't agree with everything DICE as ever done. Putting a delay between tossing a C4 and blowing it up was dumb. Nerfing the Black Hawk's gun was completely retarded and down right lazy. Infantry was made too slow in the 1.4 patch, and while I agree that Dolphine Diving needed to lose it's offensive capacity, the way it was implemented hurt infantry in other ways and I think that your solution of only having the .3 second delay on prones besides the first in the chain is a great idea and would give infantry the needed mobility while preventing people from just diving around the maps not using any actual tactics like in the older versions of the game. DICE isn't infallible, no developer is. I just happen to agree with them on the general direction of the game. If I wanted to play Counter Strike, I would. But CS sucks, so I don't. You want to play Counter Strike, and you do. But you need to understand that BF2 isn't Counter Strike and should be played in a different way.

The main argument people used to nerf movement was that it took advantage of the game's really shitty hitreg. Now if the hitreg is going to be 'fixed' surely that argument disappears?

You can say it looks retarded and unrealistic but you can do retarded things in other games too. I could walk backwards crouch spamming in CSS but it doesn't convey any advantage so noone does it. If having good movement isn't exploiting the crappy hitreg anymore why not just restore it to the way it was? Oh unless of course the real reason you wanted movement nerfed was because you can't aim for shit and hitting a target that drops in size that quickly (quickly being a term of relativity in bf2...as everything is slow as hell) was far beyond your ability.

Fix the small bugs and glitches and leave gameplay alone for gods sake. Besides some imbalanced features that indeed need fixing, movement and units should stay untouched.
You guys know that this is the last shot we will ever get to fix BF2, why risk messing it up further with alterations that initially may seem good, but in the long run be proven harmful to the games coherence?

I enjoy battlefield 2 as it is. And im sure you do too. So, leave it alone.

Give an option to filter servers not by IO only, but by vehicles only, so people not wanna playing IO can find servers they want. Or more better, get rid off IO and lets get back to good old BF2 and with patch like 1.2.

I agree, people don't like vehicles cuz they aren't good, people don't like io cuz they can't aim without being in a vehicle. Just play on the servers you like and stop fussing people that like io or vehicles.

I hate vehicles because it's all TKing/FTKing/C4ing/etc for jets and choppers. I might get up 1/3 times without being spawn raped/tked/tarded and when I do it ends up with me getting banned half the time for suspected hacking. Air vehicle pubs are retarded beyond belief, especially considering that the same admins that have hundreds of hours in jets/choppers don't think anything past 50-0 in a jet/chopper is possible without hacks.

The only vehicles I enjoy playing anymore is either Armor (not so much on air maps tbh) or as infy occasionally. There's very little bullshit on IO other than nade/clay spamming which is something you can work around easily.

ps zVelo tell Doooman to move down in vent, someone needs to talk to him.

Vehicles servers without friendly-fire are much more fun, heck so are IO servers. I haven't played a single game ever that was more fun with Friendly Fire On; AKA Double spam setting.

FF Off vehicles is just FTKing/C4ing/ramming blackhawks into friendly jets instead of TKing/FTking/ramming blackhawks into friendly jets, not to mention the friendly jets that bomb flags as you cap them (little annoying getting bombs dropped on you just so the jets can kill the guy you're about to knife :S).

I played a huge amount of vehicle pubs for a long time. Maybe 2 months ago I finally gave up because it was not only too slow paced but too full of tards for me =]

If the server has FF Off then none of these problems happen. The guys who spam will always spam whether FF is on or off, but when FF is on then their spam affects twice as many people.
