you're damn skippy
Goddamn WoW's new water effects are nice.
Is your face water or syrup.
fin, games from the 20's had better looking water than that.
It's good for WoW okay?!
games from the 20's had a water system based on a DX11 rendering method?
that's graphical elements with brand new technology from an engine 6 years old... that scales and runs on £200 laptops
compare that to your beloved MW2/Black Ops, miggle... and consider the difference in scale between 20-player and huge consistent MMO world

Nomatter how they do it, it still looks like syrup more than water

floppy have you played it and actually seen how it works - dynamically? bit fucking retarded to judge a physics system on a static screenshot
then again it's not like you even play any of the games you ever have an opinion on
pretty sure fin is playing the game on far from max settings as well... mine looks a LOT better

I just finished playing through.. I think it would have made a better movie than game tbh... It's pretty hard getting the input to do what you want
Also there were quite a few frustrating parts where you were not quite sure where to go or how to get where you are going...
Also... Very lame ending that feels like it's rushed in...
And I really like Faith as a character
EDIT: I also didn't like the cutscenes, they were obviously themed but I just think it looked like shabby flash animations

all max settings... minus ground density... which annoys me as a gnome kinda sucks to always be buried beneath grass/foliage!

that looks a lot better.
What's there to complain about WoW's graphics now? People have been begging for an update, and apparently there it is. The water looks great for a game that old and blocky, but I prefer the look of EQ2's.

it's just an overall aesthetic style in WoW that is really good, imo... doesn't need hi-definition or super realistic physics
the fact the water trails are perhaps a bit too 'long' doesn't detract at all... the whole game has a cohesive style and it is executed very well

I couldn't have said it any better. I played WoW for 5 years strong and Cataclysm almost brought me back due to the overhaul of the zones and all. I always enjoyed leveling and questing more than anything else and the aesthetics of the environments made that more enjoyable.Uzique wrote:

It´s much better on the secong playthrough. Due to knowing where to go, it becomes a fast and fluid experience. I never had input issues though, always thought they did a really good job for a platformer. It was a bit short and the end was rather low, true, but I looked at it with Portal Eyes (especially since I got it in a Steam sale, so the price was close to Portal´s).FloppY_ wrote:

I just meant that this type of game won't be perfect to control before we get direct thought input, as in you think how and where you want your jump combos... :3Sisco wrote:
