iD's tech5 looks to do awesome wastelands. look at RAGE, but i dotn think they are going to sell rights to the engine.

Yeh Gamebryo is a terrible piece of crap engine, but the games themselves are all great. Oblivion's graphics improved dramatically through mods, so I am sure this game will too.

You're not just being a contrarian, are you? If all games had enormous color palettes (game series' like Serious Sam come to mind), would you be complaining that for once, you'd like to see more muted styles?

nope, that's bein developed by the guys who made the first two games, so a different team, and is scheduled for late 2012 (altho it could well prove to actually be the next one)
