I thought I'd like to share this because I'm going threw the process of getting it repaired.
1.go to www.xbox.com log in with your windows live id and click on support
2. Register your console. There should be a bar code on the back with some numbers.
3. Click on repair console. "It might ask you for some shipping information fill that out. Click ok.
4. Select the labled option and you will receive a pre paid shipping lable which will be mailed to you within 4-5 days "I got mine in 3"
5. You will have to use your own box or call xbox support for them to give you one. "Just use your own."
6. Take your console and make sure your support # is somewhere in the box to your local ups fed store "Go to the same store as your shipping lable is"
7. This process will be free accept for the gas you use to get there. "Hand the box with the consul and the support number in it to the ups clerk and your off and ready to go" You can buy a box there and ask for pak. material to prevent damage to your 360 in the delivery.
8. In about 3-4 weeks you should get your console back good as new.
On there website you will see these boxes. They will give you an idea on how long it takes to get there.
As you can see there are 6 boxes which means 6 steps to get your console back. I hope this helps people. I am posting this because I went threw a hard time trying to figure it out and I had a friend guide me threw it.
