Police said they received complaints and she must take the sign down. An officer at the scene said the woman agreed to take down the sign under protest. The officer said the woman already had seven more signs she was planning to hang up.

So does she have a right to put up a sign telling everyone she only rents to whites?

Yup I am, I am not in favor of govt. telling people who they can and can not rent to. I am certaionly not a fan of govt. telling people what they can and can not express on their own property.

I don't see why someone should be allowed to bar someone else from doing something purely because of race, her place or not, fuck that. Sure, she can do it in her own quiet way, but to openly put up signs, that crosses a line, surely? Especially considering the history of the USA. Face it, there are some signs and some things that should not be allowed to be displayed in public. Her property or not, those signs were in view of the public.

If someone put up a sign outside their house saying "I support Al Queada" or "Kill all the Jews" or something, then no, fuck that you deserve to get slapped for that. Freedom of speech can suck a giant fat cock on certain occasions. I don't see why people should have to deal with seeing such shit when they go outside. Imo. If someone has the freedom to put up such signs in public view, than another has just the same right to remove it from public view

There's no such thing as complete freedom to do whatever the fuck you want, end of story. Lowing is an anarchist and functioning society doesn't work that way
