This kid is probably lowing's wet dream! Jonathon Krohn is a home-schooled 14 year old child from Atlanta, Georgia. I worry for the right-wing if 14 year old boys are defining conservatism! When a child with no life experience (not even the social experience of mixed schooling) believes he is some sort of moral compass for society he becomes a living example of the dangers of 'parent propaganda'. This kid has no life experience, how can he possibly claim to know anything significant about conservatism versus liberalism if he has been raised in a conservative household and never exposed himself to liberalism? He is simply a mouthpiece for his parent's political views.

Perhaps this "child genius" should take some of Churchill's advice... "If you're not a liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not a conservative by the time you're 35, you have no brain".

He didn't really have much to say of actual substance. It was a lot of empty rhetoric. His book may be different, but, who knows.

He just sounded like a salesman to me. lol Failed miserably when he said it's never been govts job to help people. He proposes it's to do nothing but protect constitutional rights. Which is ironic, because the Republicans have been acting in the opposite way.

I hate to see kids brainwashed like this. It doesn't matter if it's Islam, Jesus Christ or politics... it's tantamount to child abuse in my opinion. Just look at that kid who killed himself after reading a Richard Dawkins book a few weeks back, he was raised to have such a sheltered wold view that he was unable to deal with reality or argument from outside in his teenage years (the years when one arguably begins to truly find their own identity). Kids should be taught that the world is full of diversity and grey areas and, where possible, should be left room to form their own opinions. Just imagine what this child would be like if his parents were white-supremacists instead of just conservatives!

Ya might be right, I have no idea. It could be brainwashing. A thought though, why do you insist on shoving diversity down everyones throats? Perhaps there are those out in the world that just as soon not be diversified and stick with who and what they know, and are comfortable. When you force feed something to someone who does not want it, basically what YOU think they should think and how YOU think they should act, are you not pretty much wasting your time and actually driving them away with a deeper resentment than what they had ( if any)?

Sounds like the kid has been brainwashed by his parents to me. Same shit happens here in N.I. Kids grow up hating Protestants or Catholics based on the one sided propaganda dumped on them by their parents. Never allowed to formulate their own opinions on politics or religion. Passing on hate and partisan ideals.
Anyway, what the fuck does a kid of that age know about anything other than what his parents have taught him. His parents should have let him be a kid and develop. He will end up hating them when he finally wises up.

My Dad is really right wing. My Mum is really religious. I am a lefty Atheist because they let me make my own choices. By providing me with an education in religion and Evolution, by teaching me that we are all the same people regardless of Religion. I am better for it.

Here we have had religion & politics split the place apart for generations. In the USA it seams your going down the same path. A path that will some day led to violence. If this is the new generation coming up, I pity your grandchildren.

Agreed. That said, that's what most politicians speak, so tbh I'm quite impressed for a 14 year old. That said, believing in anything at that age so strongly means he's clearly been brainwashed by his parents.

As much as I hate to say it after reading his wiki article methinks I'll be seeing this lad's name in the news regarding the USA for much of my life unless he dies/has an accident or something.


Seems smart enough, brainwashing or not. One key point he seems to have missed though is that a democratic government's job, no matter what variation on the basic system of democratic government by constitution, is to do what the majority of the people want.

That would not explain however, forced integration, as well as demands from special interests groups, all in the name of diversity.

If we went to public school and did this kind of thing he would be beat up..I think everything he says is what his parents are telling him and when he grows up to find out he doesn't believe it, its going to cause a problem.

Yeah, lowing might me a bit of a nutter, but he at least contributes, and doesn't intentionally troll.
