If only power stations were the only things affected by EMP. Everything with an unshielded chipset would become a paperweight. That's far more extensive an effect than just loss of power.

A matter of semantics, tbh. They have a missile that can reach the US (both AK and CONUS). They may or may not have a nuke that can fit as a payload on that missile. They definitely have chem/bio that can.
