The stuff was a really really dark black/blue colour instead of the normal green as well

That was probably added colour. I bought some few bottles from the Canary isles a year ago. Got red, blue and black. The black was 80% Greek stuff. That was pure shit. No taste. Just fumes. Vodka is better at that point. I'd say max 70 volts so you can still enjoy the taste. If you wan't to get your brain fried you can get 96% Royal from the Russians. Don't know if that is still classified as vodka or what at that point. A buddy of mine mixed that shit with some Turkish Pebers and we were pouring it down our throats mixed with a bit of milk. We called that stuff rohypnol because it had the same effect after a glass or four Of those glorious days at the Provinssi Rock...

and also easy to get because they are not sober in clubs.

Anyway i have to say its a pretty strange city, old russian palaces in ruin and then right next to it a bauhaus style building.
All the streets are straight and everything is layed out perfectly, big buildings, all of the cars are mercedes and bmw, hot blonde chicks and so many places to visit.
I'm loving this place.

Berlin is such a fascinating city. Explore the differences between the ex east and west, get to checkpoint charlie. Also go to the main VW garage just past the Brandenburger Tor, they've got a Veyron (amongst tons of other rare shit) in there. Memorial to the murdered Jews is well worth a visit too. If you go there, walk up the river bank to the biggish buildings, and then to the Sony Centre, it's fantastic.

Oh, and the Reichstag is interesting too.

if you're into culture and stuff, go for the museums, esp. pergamonmuseum, alte nationalgalerie and neue nationalgalerie

night-life is also pretty nice, got some great elektro and "indie" clubs there

don't stand in queue to get inside the reichstag, it's not worth standing in line that long

for shopping (clothes) i recommend prenzlauer berg

if you wanna see the "inner" city, take a bus and drive around in berlin mitte (that way you don't have to walk and you won't be cold)
