i said most.  look, i dont need a study.  i listened to the way people talk about things at work or while out and about.  people are fucking stupid when it comes to politics for the most part.

That's true ... but most voters also have one or two core issues they consider before they cast their vote, would say it's very very seldom they vote because of a TV show alone ... with that said I don't know many that watch Oprah on a regular basis to know her political influence other than that she obviously supported Obama.

But then again generalizing 69 million voters because you hate Oprah and Obama doesn't give much credit to lowings statement ...

It's really not arrogance.  We simply want him to make the right decision and not worry about the global popularity contest.  Our president's job is to take care of the US, not keep the rest of the world happy.

you have to generalize.  why on earth would i believe a "study?"  those same studies over the years said eggs were bad for you, then good, then bad, now good again.  i cant meet and talk to 69 million people.  i have to go off my own experiences.  and i will take my experiences to the bank over some article in the bbc or whatever.

I fully understand most people base their believes on the other people they meet and talk to and I'm not saying those believes are automatically wrong but they can be ... you have to seek information elsewhere to either verify those belives or sometimes they must be altered or discarded entirely ...

To sum it up ... one source is never enough, think we have seen enough copy and paste debatees to establish that ...

You know what they want, they not only want their govt. to take care of them, they expect the US govt. to do the same. How dare the US govt. not go along with the wishes of the European and Australian citizenry. Of course with Obama they got their wish.
