Fucking Ghillie suits look so retarded. They just need to get rid of them completely. It's actually a major reason I don't like using the Recon class. Back during the PS3 beta when everything was unlocked, I used to enjoy the Tommy Gun/Recon combination, but I always felt like a bitch running around with a Ghillie suit. Plus there's just so much general faggotry regarding the Sniper class that I always feel dirty when I use it. Does anyone else get that.

Im loving the explosions and player model detail even on low. Vehicle damage is nice even though its very simple, I lol occasionally when a vodnik is hauling ass somewhere with the back half of it missing.

I was absolutely tearing people up as a sniper the other day, twice as many points as the next guy on my team etc. It's not a useless class its just flooded with terrible 12 year olds with the name GHOSTDRAGONSNIPERNINJAxxxx091283xxx. Shit, it's actually more useful than medic and assault in lots of cases because you can destroy vehicles, provide mini UAVs and kill objectives... Snipers always take a bad rap because they're "loners" and do nothing for the "team" where if you're a decent sniper at all you're helping your team a lot.
All classes in BF:BC2 are pretty damn useful.
The only way to fix this problem is to remove the sniper class from gameplay. The recon in BC2 is much more useful rolling with a shotgun or M1A1 and bombing shit than sitting back jerking off his rifle. And the problem isn't unique to this game.
Every team based game I played was brought down by its sniper class. The class enables a loner play-style in a game focused on teamwork.
Of course you can't remove the sniper all together, as there are 9001^9001 morons who would not buy a game without a sniper, and the fact that all of those morons also have diluted themselves into the believe that killing people without putting yourself in danger is the most skillful way to play, then we can conclude than team based games will be forever stuck in this rut.
