I seem to have lost my photographic spark. Still have to call Canon to see how much it will be to repair my camera (it's out of warranty by a whole 1.5 months.. ..), but even then I think the holiday left me burnt out. Apple should have my laptop back to me in 1-2 weeks, so soon I'll get on to editing the holiday photos

But yeah, I need some inspiration..

Very nice actually. The MP size isn't really such a matter, you can get great images with a 12MP camera tbh

they've implemented what they already had with the 7D - same sensor, different frame.

higher resolution. the T2i has the same sensor (18 mp) as the 7D, but just one of it's processors. the nice thing about Canon's new, bigger sensor is the way it's made. that is where the quality of dSLR's have been getting better.

Was thinking on getting a Lowepro Fastpack 350. It fits a 17" laptop on the backside too. Roomy.

For 88€.

Well didja?

That tiger looks like it want's to be all cuddly and play. With someone's head
after lots of research i've determined that the Nikkor AF-S 14-24mm f/2.8 G ED N with the d90 will not work out too well as the d90 isnt full frame and that's what the lens wants. so looking at the next best thing for my camera(and 1000$ less) is the tokina 11-16mm 2.8.. thoughts? link to the tokina 11-16 photo pool http://www.flickr.com/groups/tokina11-16mm/pool/

i like those pictures. i have a sigma wide angle, 10-20mm. it's f/4, not as fast as the one you're looking at.

Just got back from uni. I've gotten involved with my uni's photography club (www.unswphoto.com), and last week offered my teaching services...

.. so then on Monday, I get an email asking if I can do a Photojournalism Talk at this week's tutorial on Thursday.

It turns out that I did rather well They want me back tomorrow to give the talk again at the Friday tutorial. And since I don't have uni on Fridays, the photo club are willing to pay for my petrol/parking.
