Take welfare off, that will take care of irresponsible young people and help taxpayers money use it for other things. The problem is Democrats don't want welfare off because that takes some of the voters out of their grips. More independent people = bad politics for next election and less control over people. They won't deal with the illegal aliens because that is where another one of their supports are; if they become much of a threat in hurting them politically then they will make compromises to deal with illegal aliens. Whatever helps them politically. These propositions of using tax payers money on contraception and abortion though won't be significant, but it will be wrong. Because abortion is also an ethical problem. There are many pro-lifers out there. Don't seem to mind safe sex, but I hate letting our money drain on these things. I rather go to the source. Let the government say no to this situation. Take off welfare that will pressurize young couples to think twice in having kids because some couples don't give a dam about the privileges of having welfare. They should learn to be on their own, and make hard choices on their own. Instead of some of them being asses because of irresponsibility and relying on government.
And then you find that the birth rate is going through the floor because of all the "hard choices" being made.

After further thought, this is ridiculous in that instead of adding an expense to the budget, and if the intent was to reduce pregnancies...
....how about discontinuing the child tax credit, decreasing the dependent deduction, and increasing the marriage tax penalty instead?
