BARACK Obama is facing escalating death threats from white supremacists, according to senior law enforcement officers, prompting severe security restrictions in Washington DC.

Police sources said credible threats had been made, but the FBI denied that at the weekend, saying no specific plots had emerged. Still, agents acknowledged they were receiving more and more tips about suspicious activities.
Steven Joseph Christopher, in three postings to www.alien-earth.org, said he planned to assassinate Mr Obama in Washington "as a sacrificial lamb", the Justice Department said.
"It's really nothing personal about the man. He speaks well ... But I know it's for the country's own good that I do this," Christopher wrote.
"It's not because I'm racist that I will kill Barack, it's because I can no longer allow the Jewish parasites to bully their way into making the American people submit to their evil ways."
The Ku Klux Klan website had a diatribe about the "disgrace of it all".
"The president-elect now stands as a symbol to our people throughout this nation that change is indeed coming," the article states.
"What will it mean for those who are being disenfranchised from the very nation purchased by the blood of their forefathers?
"It could mean an awakening of our spirit and blood. Every time the television shows an image of Obama it will be a reminder that our people have lost power in this country."
This comes as no suprise, however it seems a bit more of a threat than I would have expected. I hope they fail ( as I am sure we all do) but this may be a tough few years for him.The Australian wrote:
