Looking to start a CoD4 team

Right, well, recently I joined a BF2 team called Team Initial, who have a US division and an EU division. The US division is relatively established and pretty good, the EU one is much newer and just finding it's feet, but that's not why i'm here.

I asked the leader the other day if there was a CoD4 team, he said no, I said there should be, and he said that I could lead an EU CoD4 team then, if I could find the players and start winning.

I do play CoD4 a bit, and consider myself to be quite good, but I have little to no competition experience, and need to do a bit more research. But I want to know if anyone can let me know of any players that would be up for helping me out? inL* website is http://teaminitial.spruz.com for more info and my XFire is mintsauce41 if you can give me anything!

Can I has join? Been without a clan for friggin aaaaaaages. Never found one I really liked, but you seem like an alright guy, compared to some clans I've been lurking.

Competitive cod4 is very different to public. If you don't know your set nades, don't know which bits of the map you can run silent over, don't know which parts you can fall 50 feet onto and survive (crash), don't know how to wallbang the bombsites (vacant especially), or don't know all the possible camping spots on the all the competitive maps you're pretty much already so insurmountably disadvantaged that you'd never become any good...which defeats the point of playing competitively. And it's not enough for you to know all this stuff, your teammates need to know it all too, otherwise their wrongly placed set nade could let a devastating rush through and you might all get raped in the arse.

tl:dr stick to public unless you enjoy losing a lot/ having to study cod4 as if it were some sort of textbook
