Hi, heres my problem.
since about a week I have to log in to all forums all the time, the 'login me automatically' option doesnt work for all sites, like BF2S Forums, YouTube etc. It's connected with cookies, right? (Im not sure). I set an option in FF to save all the cookies, but it still doesnt work. I didnt do anything important in PC / FF, maybe except installing adblockplus extension, but it was about a month ago...

Last time I used CCleaner I had the option to not delete cookies... has that changed?

I remember that happening to me MONTHS and MONTHS ago, around the time FF3 initially launched

I sort of forgot about that because its all back to normal working order...

The problem I have with FF now is it will lock up and shut down randomly, at first I though It was my internet settings, but I used Chrome and IE and they had no problem. But it is happening less and less often now.

Think the same thing is happening to me. There is an option in the security preferences in firefox that you can check if you want firefox to clear your private data when firefox closes. When I uncheck it, close and reopen firefox, my private data has been cleared and the check box has checked itself.

The real problem lies with Java, flash and the like sadly. And they run on any browser and platform At least I have noscript

I'm not running as root, so most of these security problems don't concern me. If I want to go to some shady place I'll fire up my VM and reset it back to a snapshot once I'm done.
