Career/College Choice 2009

Anybody got any idea how you go about joining the Irish Air Corps? There is no official shit on the www.military.ie website.

I need to sort out what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life, somebody help.

I enjoy:
Sports (Gym and numerous Irish sports)
Forensics (<3 CSI)
Computers (Duh)

I have considered the Irish police force (Garda), but I still can't figure out what course to do before I apply for the Garda training at Templemoore. I don't want a miserable desk job sitting at a PC all day, I wouldn't mind intergrateing computers into my work, such as forensic computing.

I have a week to decide what I want to do for the rest of my life.

My ideal job(s):
Garda (Policeman)
Fireman
Prison Officer
Pilot
Fitness trainer

My best subject in school is Geography. I'm fairly smart but I'm lazy as shit, so don't suggest a job to me that requires much study, I am a very practical person.

HELP ME PLZ!

I am lazy as shit when it comes to study and acedemics.

If the Irish education system thought us something other than shit that happened 5,000 years ago I would care, but I dont.

I'm not physically lazy, I train 3 times / week and go to the gym another 3 days.

Well I can tell you one thing, if you don't get your act together and get involved in your schoolwork, you can kiss a pilot job goodbye. I've been in ground school since September now and it's a lot of work and memorization. Learning how to read METARs, meteorology, runway symbols, etc..

I aim to please! For any job you are going to need some degree of training/studying. The jobs you listed all require a large degree of said materials.
So, that means you better get un-lazy and start studying.

Hardly, not many people stay in the same job their whole life and anything you decide now will be irrelevant in a few years.
