The problem is:
None of their leaders really seems to want peace. They both have fundamentalists who don't care about peace. However, I bet that the vast majority of both Israelis and Palastenians would love to live peacefully side by side, make their living, raise their kids and live happily ever after.
Imagine you would have to live in that region just for one single day and then think twice before posting crappy comments and thank your god (don't care which one) that you live in a peaceful area like the US, Europe or where ever !
The problem is:
