Well then, if our collective "hatred" towards muslims stems from govt propaganda, then I ask what problem do muslims have with America who have never been affected by us? I have spent time in the middle east and I can assure you that there are folks who arent even sure why they are supposed to hate us, they just do. Others want us dead because Allah has deemed us as a threat to their culture due to our different ways. Does Allah really say that or has it been misinterpreted and spread as propaganda by muslim extremists?

The safest form of travel is probably to board a plane that contains no Brits, Americans or Israelis, i.e. to board a plane with little or no targets of terrorism.

Well, it's kind of propaganda vs. propaganda.  Here, our government tells us that they hate our freedoms.  Over there, they are told that America is the "Great Satan."

We hate each other mostly due to ignorance.

actually it isn't "boiling all of the time" in the ME. The weather in Iraq right now is comparabe to that of Georgia.

Not ignorance. I am well aware of there actions against the west and their reasons, and I hate it.

Well, the point I'm making is that nothing occurs in a vacuum.  We've done things in the Middle East that have understandably pissed off some people.  We've also supported certain radicals in the past that have now turned against us.

Our history with the Middle East does not justify the actions of terrorists, but they are worth noting in order to determine the most appropriate course of action to prevent future antagonism.

The root causes of support for radicalism stem mostly from ignorance and poverty.  In America, hawkishness can often be attributed to ignorance as well.  I'm not specifically saying that you are ignorant though.

Actually since I live in the town with the 3rd highest percentage of Muslims in the UK I think I have met more than enough to decide that they infact, do not smell...

And I have no idea how hot Georgia is. I'll assume it's temporate.

Georgia is a state that enjoys all four seasons and the temps to go with them

So do my credentials of living all my life in this town, going to school with 40% Muslims, having a Muslim friend, seeing Muslims everywhere I go not perhaps qualify me to make a better judgement than you?
