AWD - much better handling and grip during acceleration, especially in snow which have loads of during winter.
That depends though, for instance cars that were fwd but made to be awd, such as a Calibra Turbo which uses a transfer box that burn out and die all the time / fail

cars with true awd or intelligent awd, such as R33 GTR

RWD is more fun when it's slippery and icy ...
RWD is more fun if you have a powerful rear engine vehicle ...

AWD is better in rough conditions ...

FWD is more practicable as mentioned because most cars have the engine in front ...

I currently have a FWD 177hp Toyota Auris X ...

Nice! Cosmos blue rev 5

As for reliability, I've had mine for just over 2 years now and not one thing has gone wrong. Currently running circa 280BHP but should be nearer 320-330 once I've set the boost controller up properly and fit/have mapped the Apex-i PFC (mappable ECU) I've got the rev5 rear spoiler on mine too, best one Just don't have a photo of it

Hey, someone called it by its proper colour! Everyone just says "yeah, its purple". /facepalm

Ah, good to know. A mechanic friend of mine said he gets more Turbos in for repairs than any other MR2. Perhaps its the country roads Had mine a year and a half, had a smashed windscreen (damn stone) and thats it.
And, despite my picture, my aerial does work now That was taken the day I bought it actually.

Well it is purple, no matter what you call it ...
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Well turbos are a little more tricky, with the roads the way they are now mine will spin the rear wheels on less than half throttle in 2nd with ease But in terms of actually reliability as I said, it's a good car. I've owned 3S-GTE pwoered cars now (2 Celica GT4's before the '2) for coming on close to 11 years now and other than a rad I've replaced nothing other than servicable items on any of the 3 cars.

I have FWD, I find it wheelspins better and generally handles better.

FWD Opel Astra 1.6 Twinport Cosmo (105bhp).

Boring car as hell during the winter. It understeers (d-uh, FWD) and the handbrake has a bloody *ding ding ding*-sound when applied in motion (handbrake turns ftw). I miss my old E21 and E30 BMW:s - most fun you can have in the winter with your pants on.
I need around tree fiddy.

Fact remains

My cousins husband works at a mitsubishi dealership, he was once tasked with driving a Evo IX back to the showroom from a car show..
He might have taken a slight detour
