The volume for the mike, is all the way up, and mike boost IS on, but i still come out as soft as anything, wtf....

Ive re-installed my drivers, and still the same problem

It isnt the mike cause it works perfectlry on my other comp

Lol, i did this with my headset, and then took me about a day to realise the inline mike switch was off

but you say it works on another computer

try it in a different mike port if you have 2

Using a soundcard or onboard? If a card, is the onboard disabled?

Try drivercleaner to wipe the old drivers in a reinstall.

When my mic wasn't working I had to go into the audio equalizer (Volume control) click the 'Advanced' button under the 'Microphone' section and uncheck the box that says 'Front Panel Microphone'.
