North Coast - inland sections continued
Arctic outflow will give wind chill values of minus 20 and below.
An Arctic ridge of high pressure over the British Columbia interior is producing strong outflow winds through coastal valleys and inlets. The strong outflow winds in combination with very cold air are producing wind chill values exceeding minus 20 degrees for much of the BC coast with values ranging from minus 35 to 45 reported on the north coast.
Winds through the Fraser Valley have eased somewhat but are expected to remain gusty through Thursday. Local areas of blowing snow with reduced visibilities are likely to continue through Thursday night.
