Loudest I've ever heard as well, and right overhead.

You're in luck, only lows of -20. You always have that continental 10 degrees less in the winter (ultramegafrostbite) and 10 degrees more in the summer (forest fire hazard supreme). It must be the suck.Shahter wrote:

Mainly only the Northern and more exposed parts of the country. No snow at all for me here (about as south and central as it's possible to be).
Pretty crazy seeing some places (on the news) with thigh-deep snow, though.
Though it's not as if it's not cold enough to snow here. -1C at the moment.

yeah. fortunately, being farther from the ocean means the air is more dry here - makes that cold more bearable. if, for example, one day they have -30 in england with their usual humidity it would pretty much be a fucking armageddon, while in central siberia and kazakhstan winter temperatures often drop to -50C and lower, but being so deep into the continent as they are it's quite allright in there.DonFck wrote:

At least a foot and a bit up here, been that way for a couple of days now.
Local paper said yesterday it's gonna get to -20C.. which I doubt.
