Marine's right on this one.  Setting a bomb off at a bank doesn't make anymore of a statement other than, "I'm an asshole."

Now, blowing up a government building is a more clear anti-government statement.  I'm not condoning it, but you go after the source of a problem, not after random people in a bank.

Just for the sake of an argument;

1) banks do not have automatic weapons and layers of security
2) they have been raping people with high interests and not slowing down the foreclosures despite trillions in tax payer " loans "
3) no matter how many trillions of money a bank gets, if you have a note due or are late in payments those fuckers will have their pound of flesh.

I'm certainly not going to do something as stupid as start setting off bombs, but I can empathize with the frustrations of people that choose to.

Chicago is pretty fucked in general.  All I can say is that I hope Obama is different.  So far, he seems at least better at covering his ass.

I'm just glad I don't live in Chicago, or anywhere in Illinois for that matter.
