"People who murder innocent people to achieve a political objective" ...lol.

"You can't look at the decision to go into Iraq apart from what happened on September 11th" ...mind-boggling!

Hats off to him on his Youth Focus program though. We don't get to hear about that kind of stuff here in Europe.

First time I have seen him in that light. He seams relaxed when talking one to one, as apposed to a crowd, or a room full of journalists. Much more concise. He usually comes across as cold and uptight to me, as if he's shitting his pants cus a couple of a billion ppl will be watching him on the news that night. Or he is not comfortable with what he is saying.

JahManRed, check youtube for vids of him giving speeches when he was the governor of Texas.

You would swear it was a different person. Tbh he was once a fucking brilliant public speaker. Not sure what happened to him.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

I actually really liked this interview, i believe that it's the first interview that takes focus on his faith in a relaxed fashion and where he gets to say what he wants (and he doesn't have to think about it as much as usual (presidency is almost over)).

I'm one of the few people on the forums that likes bush (and no i'm not going to discuss why) but I have always felt worried about his faith (always thought the was a rather extream christian) but this puts him in a whole different light in my opinion and i think we can all learn a lot from this interview in maybe seeing other parts of this person that has been running this great country for these 8 years.

There was a documentary made about him prior to his election (can't remember who by) and he comes across completely differentl in it. Quite personable and even likeable; I remember one bit where he was asked if he was a plant what plant would he be, to which he replied "I'm a bush"!

yep, me too. i always had an impressian GWB was an american equivalent of our Leonid Brezhnev. this video stands apart from everything i heard before. this interview was either a very good arrangement or... i just dunno. i must admit, i was really surprized to hear GWB talking like this.

You seem like a conflicted soul if I may say... you come from Denmark (a country with one of the highest standards of living in the world) and in your sig you decry your nation's socialist policies with a soviet symbol on your flag and a tagline that reads "Socialist Fucking Denmark". This tone seems in stark contrast with the way in which you talk about America. Have you been to America? Why do you like it so much?

I'm not trying to be insulting, I like America too... I just find it odd because I've always wanted to go to Denmark too and have heard great things about it.

i totally understand what you mean, i have lived as an exchange student in the US for a year so i have tried both of the different lifestyles that each nations offers. there's both good and dark sides of the coin here in denmark (but so too in the US)

but the flag was a practical joke that was on the forum once and then some of my friends did it and basicly I forgot to turn it back to a proper avatar. i understan the confusion.

but I might want to consider rephrasing some of my tags, symbols etc. hehe
