Help me buy a new Mouse (a decent one ffs)

Following unforunate circumstances, I have decided to purchase a decent mouse. Preferably one that doesn't break after a year's use and one that doesn't reset itself every 5 seconds.

No specific price range atm. Just help me :S

I love my G5, and I have heard lots of good things about the MX518. Keep it between those 2.

I hear the G9 is like, the ultimate gaming mouse...but the G5/G7 are better for a mix of work/gaming. I say get the G9.

Also, as I said when we were playing, my G7 does the same thing. Guess it's a logitech problem.

MX518/G5 V2 if you like the bigger design of logitech mouses or razer copperhead/deathadder if you don't want a brick on your desk. Equally good mice, just a matter of preference in shape. I've had copperhead for almost 2 years and wouldn't change it for anything.

I can recommend Razer Copperhead, Diamondback and Krait. Had Logitech mouses and I have to say Razer>Logitech when it comes to PC mice.

Logitech g5 or g7...
I have both, both are connected. I switch off. Not sure why, but they both feal different, and no i don't mean the response time, or wireless lag. The g7 feels more responsive than the g5 tbh...

I've had the g7 for like 4 years, g5 for about 1 year.

Also I've had my Microsoft Intellimouse explorer 3.0 for over 8 years, and it works good still, but I don't like how slow the optical tracking speed is.
