There is a lady on Etsy that I buy custom made MTG boxes from. The missing white part is my name. I actually bought 5 but I can't get the fifth right now for a picture. I ordered four more custom boxes from the lady which means hundreds of more dollars wasted on Magic the Gathering.

I bought a computer program to catalog my entire MTG collection. At less than 5% of the entire collection cataloged, the value is already almost $300. What an a absolutely embarrassing money sink.

The dog one was actually a Christmas present for my little sister. That is a picture of her dog. I joke that the dog's final resting place will be the box.

It took me 9 hours to finish the arms, legs, and waist. But I was sporadically distracted by a lot of things so the number might be inflated.

I wanted it to look like this but it is too fragile. I think the people who made this used putty and Photoshop to get it to get into that pose. So mine looks like it is worried it has something up it's ass instead

What's involved in building one of these models? Are they glued? Do you have to sand and paint the parts? The closest I've come to something like that is building large Warhammer models, where most of the time is spent painting.

All of the cheaper ones like Mac has snap together but glue is still recommended. Many sand down the cut points but some people buy top end cutters to prevent plastic warping so they don't need to sand anything.
Painting is optional, most models come colored correctly but plenty of people kitbash and use their own paintscheme
