its fast food. and far from the worst fried chicken fast food.
Popeyes is better. KFC is good though. I could subsist on original or grilled chicken breast for days.
Oh yeah, I'll have to grab that.
Took my almost 5yo Markus - office chair back to Ikea, because the angle switch thingy has been busted the last 2-3 years, and got a replacement Markus - office chair. 10y guarantee rox! The reason I took it back only today was that I just found out today that it has a 10y guarantee Good thing I had my old bank statements in a folder. They took it as a receipt. ed. Oh and I also bought a new juice press thingy.

what does "night club" mean
different size or soemthing

different specifications of the cartridge and needle stylus. too technical and audiophile for you to care. better frequency response / output. also they come in different diamond shapes - some which fit better in the groove of a record and track differently, producing a slightly different sound signature. the 'nightclubs' are just a top-end cartridge in their range, dubbed that way because, i guess, obviously nightclubs want the top-performing turntable hardware.
i wish. they retail for about £140 each. i guess they're pictured in pairs because you're not doing a whole lot of DJ'ing with one turntable.nice, buy one get one free! that works out to half price, score!

because i wanted some cheap speakers to connect my laptop to when i'm working in my living room
i like how you use "cheap" as a defense, as if you couldn't get anything of even decent quality in that price-range.
i just hooked my gf up with some speakers in the same price-range, which i can guarantee are way better.
logitech = oooh! cool! goes LOUD and makes LOUD RUMBLING NOISES!

What? It was $150 at best buy. I have a decent setup in my bedroom and we have a nice set up in my living room already. I don't need 'nice' speakers or something high quality, I needed something cheap and pretty portable. Those fit the need. I'm not really too worried about the quality of music I would stream or the quality of the web meetings I'm a part of. I simply don't care. Its not a defense of my decision - its the explanation, end of.
enjoy your audio turdnagles
turdnangles. thats my word of the day today.
I very much hope you get bottles of piss thrown at you, I heard all the 'talent' has that happen to them at some point in their career.
I bought a Maglus a week or so ago, been using it to take notes and its surprisingly good. I cant say I was expecting much, but I love it now and do most of my homework and note-taking with it. Now if only my iPad battery could last the day...
Next time I spend the equivalent of a night out ill make sure to ask for your expert opinion.Uzique The Lesser wrote:

lol that is a jay-level humble brag. you always harp on jay about money but you are just as fastidious yourself, aren't you?KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

and the point isn't the budget: the point is you could get a much better pair of 'throwaway' speakers in that price-range. but you keep making it about the money. or are you so fabulously and imaginably rich that you've now surpassed the very notion of 'value for money'? you are masochistically well-off, right? you'll happily spend $150 on some bad speakers, when a little research could have got you some $150 good speakers. you just don't care, eh! bring on the canapes! what time does the yacht club open again?
I would have gone for something like these at for cheaper than $150: M-Audio Studiophile AV40 Powered Monitor Speakers and pick them up at the local music store.
With about five seconds of research you could get the better version for a few bucks more.

I said cheap. Then I said I paid the equivalent of a night out to give some perspective on the amount of care. Its not a humble brag. $150 isn't a lot of money no matter how you spin it. I wanted a 2.1 set up, that I could get today, that is very portable, doesn't take a lot of time to set up. Sure, I could have done some research and picked out the very best uber-audiophile speakers for the price- I could have got the best bang for the buck, sure. I didn't and I am well-aware. And I don't care. They are cheap and I'm certain ill be giving them away within a year.
Meanwhile you have to respond by telling me you spent the same for 'better' speakers. Good for you. Do you want me to karma you or something? Do you want some sort of recognition for being the uber audio resource pro? Should I petition oh for an audio badge for you? Are you feeling abnormally insecure? I'm not sure I understand the motive behind your response.
