What if the country doesn't cooperate?  Bush said, in so many words, "You're either with us or you're with the Terrorists" (I'm paraphrasing here).

Didn't Barrak say that if we had credible intelligence of Al-Quada leaders in Pakistan that we would attack without permission?


The people of Pakistan must know that we're not there to take over their country or any of that...we just want to get rid of the terrorists that are using part of their country as a safe harbor. 

Would Pakistan fire a nuke at us?  Are homegrown Brits going to be the new source of recuits for Al-Quada?  Why haven't we seen that in America?  Are they asymulating better here than in other countries where they are segregated?

No. And you have your own deep-bred fanatics in America, you're hardly the only country breeding prejudice and extremism through "segregation".

Whatever happens in the future, I think stirring up the wasp's nest in Pakistan would really bite America in the ass. Ramping free-range around Middle-Eastern dustbowls with Russian technology and weaponry from Soviet-era is one thing, nuclear-armed hardcore Pakistan is another.

This was always the intention.
AQ was carefully herded into Pakistan, the Afghan invasion was done half-arsed - using Northern alliance mercenaries who didn't give a fig about AQ - but did want to kill the Taleban. AQ just bribed their way out.
The troops were saved for Iraq.

Think about it.
The three main threats to Israel in the region, Iraq, Iran, and Pakistan - a nuclear armed Islamic state - are all in the firing line while AQ are forgotten.

I think there's a greater likelihood that India would invade Pakistan...  and honestly, I wouldn't blame them.  Pakistan is one of the most unstable countries with a nuclear arsenal.  If they don't get their shit together soon, they're gonna get the shit blown out of them by more than just America.

I know, I need to be a little more "understanding" and try to figure out why they act they way they do so we can solve their problems, instead of just killing the sorry fuckers.

Because after all, rape, torture, and murder of 100's of thousands of people is not worth taking a human life.
