Go carts, need help

Thinking about buying my sons go carts for Christmas this year,

do any of you have opinions on manufaturers to consider or stay away from? I was thinking about Ken Bar and A.C.E.

On a side note, gg getting your son into gokart. He's gonna love it, but it'll get expensive when he starts getting into racing Go for something around 10 horsepower, should get him up to 50km/h - a nice start

#1 - a lot of go karts in this "skill range" are adjustable, and standard size.
#2 - race track > all

Actually if I was going to spend > $3K I would be getting my kids into competition, infact I actually checked on getting a used comp go-cart a few years back for them, but the one I posted is more practical for most people in the states.

And congrats on getting a gun and despite what some on the forum would have you believe it is an inanimate object that won't try to kill you or anyone else

Oh sure, i already shoot (.22, 8&12 gauge), and 1) apparently i'm rather good at it, and 2) i have a fuckton of fun.

Can't really help you on the details mate but I can say that I finished a narrow second against 9 of my mates in a great day's go-karting last weekend! They fucking rule and you'll have serious fun if you get some. I don't know what CC they were but they were pretty darn fast.
