It turns out that I think it was the 3rd book that within the first 50 pages the main vamp guy and girl get married, so if it becomes a movie you lose the whole climax\romance very early.
But the best part, is that because he is a vampire aged 17 forever iirc she's only 18 at this point. So it's going to be a childhood wedding. lol
Apparently she gets pregnant and has a caesarean. Not in a hospital. The male vampire rips open her stomach with his teeth. Can you imagine that in a movie rated pg13?
And from what she's told me, it's going to be canned by everyone if they continue following a crap story and crap plot. I asked her about it so I knew whether to sit through it with girlfriends or not. I chose not to.

i've read the anne rice vampire series and they are Very good... her first movie(interview with vampire)was the best and still not as good as the book(of course) the next movie made later was loosely based on the book and it sucked

I love Jason Statman... He stars in the sickest shoot um up movies (shoot em up = shoot outs and bullet spraying, not like the movie Shoot 'Em Up) but the movie wasnt out very long and the gf wouldnt go see it with me :\
