Not sure when the exact release date is but if they are to include Abu Dhabi I'm guessing they need to wait for the race to finish. Perhaps Winter '09 release date. I'm getting mine for the 360 but I'll make an extra effort to buy an Xbox controller and a copy of the game for the PC as well if you want me to, because I know a few of us are getting the PC version and it'd be a pleasure driving against you lotBell wrote:
When does the F1 09 game come out anyways? We need to agree what platform's where all getting so I can race you slags. Whenever I race GT5P online, its always italion cunts (zomg racism) who bash you off the track.

F1:CE is a a Whole lot different, very real if you know what I mean. Stock set-ups are too loose for me, and or too tight, I know I can do better. The Midland F1 set-ups are kinda junk tbh, though they give a nice starting point...general idea anyway.Kptk92 wrote:

As for set-ups Troy, I just stick with the stock set-ups. Then again, I'm not a kind of person who spends time tinkering with the settings, I just get in there and race. I guess that's my downfall when racing online on games like Forza 2 where Set-up is relatively important. I should get into the whole set-up thing I guess
Thanks for the input, it's much appreciated.Kptk92 wrote:
Yeah I think it was Red Bull or somebody that created a proper good simulator of the street circuit in Valencia for the 2008 European Grand Prix. Turned out the lap times were spot on, so I'm sure it's not impossible to predict lap times. That said, new aerodynamic parts will pop up over the course of the year, I'm guessing Codies would just wait til the end of the season (unless they could implement DLC, which I'm sure would cost on Xbox Live Marketplace :S)

F1 appeal rules in Brawn's favour.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp … 001425.stmRon Dennis has handed over complete control of McLaren Racing to team principal Martin Whitmarsh, ending his 43-year involvement in Formula 1.
The 61-year-old stepped down as world champion Lewis Hamilton's team boss on 16 January, but stayed involved in F1.
Dennis will now concentrate solely on McLaren's new sports car project.
"I am the architect of this restructure of McLaren. I have no qualms about leaving Martin to look after all matters connected to F1," said Dennis.
"I feel enormously enthused about the prospects for both the McLaren Group and for McLaren Automotive."
Couldn't you just have looked at the preview instead of actually posting it you dope fiendmenzo2003 wrote:

Back in the day (60's and 70's) these guys had some really quick cars that were also quite unique. I should look forward to them returning, always nice to have fresh blood in a series.
Now to convince everyone else to accept and stick to a $30,000,000.00 cap...
