It wasn't that many years ago the backwards USA was still using fractions on the stock market, if you could change that why not your measuring system. The metric system is just better in every way, its easier, more logical, more accurate and just, not plain stupid. There is not one application where the metric system is not superior, and it's only through stubbornness and laziness that it is not used globally. Just like the Dollar/cent is far superior to the imperial pound/shilling/pence crap, and why everywhere around the world has changed to a similar system.
In scandinavian it's liter and meter

But yeah, the SI system is the shizzle.

Also, what's the point in fahrenheit? It's freezing at 32 degrees? Makes no sense! It's so logical in celsius that 0 is the freezing point and 100 the boiling point of water.

Wouldn't the logical one be Kelvin...?

Δ1K = Δ1°C.

But yeah, I always forget Kelvin

All you military fanboys, don't you guys use metric right? Well, mostly.

Actually not really

half and half
Ground guys do.

Air and naval use nautical miles/knots.

Even more logical is Kelvin, Absolute Zero is at 0 degrees.

But, then, the boiling point of water is 373.16 K and it freezes at 273.16 K at standard pressure.

That's just keraaaaazy!

What?  NO.  The rest of the world needs to convert.
