It wasn't that many years ago the backwards USA was still using fractions on the stock market, if you could change that why not your measuring system. Also, what's the point in fahrenheit? It's freezing at 32 degrees? Makes no sense! It's so logical in celsius that 0 is the freezing point and 100 the boiling point of water.

But, then, the boiling point of water is 373.16 K and it freezes at 273.16 K at standard pressure.
