I dunno how to fix it, I've updated PB and the patch and all that good stuff. help!

it's a firewall/antivirus problem, that is a vague/broad term but I had the PBINIT problem with 2142 and fixed it by being an asshole to my virus/spyware scanners and my firewalls, and constantly reinstalling PB

easy, force the PB process, I have to do this usually when running a new game with PB
go download and install this then run it, should fix the issue

I tried to force the pb process but I am still getting the error.

Do you have the latest version? Check for CoD: WaW updates on the PunkBuster website.
If your firewall isnt blocking it and you have tried updating yet it still fails, uninstall reinstall pb with pbsvc from evenbalance.com.

Nothing is working.
