Black Hawk Down - Somalians

I was watching Black Hawk Down the other day and realised suddenly that it was a bit strange that, since the film is set in Somalia, only two or three of the natives in the film actually looked even remotely Somalian. Somalians look fairly distinctive and the fact they didn't use Somalians for the filming detracts from the film.

Can anyone else think of any similar examples of this?

Aliens - the original - they couldn't get real aliens, they were on strike or something, so they used animatronics, CG and muppets!

The ones in the later films were real though.

hmm the predator from the original predator movie some guy had to wear a costume, also that one movie with Owen Wilson behind enemy lines they couldnt get the real Serbs so they got Croatians, kind of like getting an Irish to play a Brit.

They weren't Somalians. Massive population of Somalians in London, where I live. Let me tell you, they don't look anything like that. It's kinda like getting Jet Li to play Ghandi - because he's Asian too, so it's ok.
