Scenario: 2 star general with 1300+ hours of hard legemit gameplay beeing fucked up the butthole by some teenage wannabe hacker; EA detects the hack and resets the account. Account owner furious. Sends mail to EA. EA answers: Thank you for contacting us. Please contact support if you have any further questions. (read: you are fucked, and EA gives a shit).
This happens a lot these days...

Now, here's the idea: Wouldn't it be great if EA provided some kind of premium service to restore these accounts? Hands up: Who would pay an EA database admin $150/hour for 2 or 3 hours to restore the account?
I know I would, and I think this could be a business opportunity to EA.

Thoughts?

if EA gave a shit it would take them 5 minutes to restore it, up to an hour if they have a dumb monkey doing it- basically EA could fix it really easily but don't care, lol

To the OP: For $2 MAYBE. Its their fault that the hacking isnt being controlled, but it might be nice to get lost stats back. But no way would I ever spend anything near ~$450 for stats restoration, thats just stupid. You could build a new computer for that much

I wouldn't pay, because we shouldn't have to pay, EA should provide every service possible to everyone who bought the game. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. They are a big company remember, and BF2 is such a small area of their business, so more often than not it will take a while to get anything done
