Sounds like a bad idea Oisin. Even without kissing, chances are very high youll get her ill as well. Think of it this way: if she gets ill, incubation time added, it will be even longer before the two of you can go out properly, as by the time you get better, she's getting the worst of it. That is if you can go out as all, as she might not be as "badass" as you and go anyway.

First thing I did when I seen her was kiss her on the cheek and she asked me what's wrong... I told her I wasnt feeling the best and didn't want her to get ill, she just 'd me and kissed me.

Yeah, that's the girl. I think her parents are somehow grasping that I'm not out to kill their daughter or do anything like that lol. She told me her dad was asking loads of questions about me and my interests, so there's some progression

so i have a wee bit of a situation

my girlfriend just told me that one of my really good friends(also a girl) has been talking smack about her to other people. any suggestions on how to deal with this without causing to much damage, cause i dint wanna loose my friend over this cause she's helped me with a lot of stuff.

help is appreciated

just talk to your friend. if you don't argue with her, she wont get annoyed. and if you don't accuse her out straight

well you can't not talk to her. just tell your girlfriend that you want to get to the bottom of it, to see if she is saying anything and to stop it. but you can't if you can't talk to her.
then ask your friend if shes likes her, and if shes saying anything about her. but don't come across accusatory (sp) because then she'll get all defensive and annoyed.

Unless you're going to marry this girl, girlfriends should never ask you to stop talking to someone. Bro's before ho's and all that. Even if your bro is a ho in this case.

The question to ask is why your girl-friend talks smack about your girlfriend, assuming you have confirmed she actually did. Three options here:

1. Gossip spun out of control
2. She's just evil and proves herself a poor friend
3. "Something else" (note brackets)

In case of 1., your girlfriend should STFU. Everyone gossips, especially females, you shouldn't loose friends over it. In case of 2., your girlfriend still shouldn't tell you what to do, but you might want to consider breaking off the friendship anyhow on your own account. In case of 3., you're in for some shit.

Maybe your girl is jealous of your friend and just made something up...maybe that's why she doesn't want you to speak to your friend? That's just an option, i don't know her so...
And if you don't talk to your friend you won't be able to get to the bottom of this so...talk to her, ask her what this is all about, and tell your girlfried that you're gonna talk to your friend and why. If you won't tell your gf she'll get even more pissed off.
