Definitely not common knowledge then.
The first and only documented case, of war man being right.
If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
I never drink enough for it to matter cuz I'm always the designated driver at parties because nobody else has a car. It felt kind of stupid to keep doing that, that's why I don't go to them anymore.
At least when I'm 21 I'll be able to go to DC bars/clubs and then sober up on the metro back to the parking garage or something

What does that mean in a drinking situation?UnkleRukus wrote:

H-O-O-K-E-R
Make someone else drive. Also, turning 21 doesnt mean anything besides the ability to buy booze._j5689_ wrote:

I don't like other people driving my car, it makes me really nervous plus nobody else would want to go if they ended up being the designated driver, it always ends up being me.UnkleRukus wrote:

You also can't get into places where booze is served till you're 21, like certain bars or clubs, nor can you order drinks in other places that do allow "minors" but serve alcohol

I could get somebody to do it like once just as a favor but it probably wouldn't happen more than that. They just let it fall to me or don't let it happen at all if I say no whenever we debate on Baltimore trips or anything like that
I know one friend that probably would but after he crashed his car into Taco Bell while buzzed because he forgot to put it in reverse, I have my doubts about his ability to drive in general and his dad requisitioned the car after his trucks tags got stolen so he doesn't have a car now till the Fall.
I'd rather go alone but I feel like I would be completely lost

Yeah, good luck with that sobering up process. Jeez, you 'mericans seem quite laid back on the whole drink driving thing.

It wouldn't be an issue at all if it ran all night, I think the trains go till 1 on weekends, maybe Hurri can correct me if I'm wrong, although the buses stop long before that. No idea what cab fare is like and there's a $4 exit fee if you parked in the garage.
