This girl I know and her friend came over to my house so I could work on her computer and then while we were waiting for a scan to complete, we went and smoked weed in a nearby neighborhood and just kept talking for an hour about everything, went to McDonald's after and she kept looking at me and smiling at me too. The whole time everything was just chill, I didn't feel like I needed to worry about anything with her, she's just very smart & confident about things and I know she's genuinely a very good person. It would be cool to hang out with her again consistently even if nothing deep ever came of it.
But the thing is that a girl like that really would be perfect for me, an alpha female with a good heart(isn't that what everybody wants), but she goes out with this guy that seems to be a thug, I've even heard her mention to someone that he's not very smart either and that's just something she would have to get over. Do most girls ever grow out of liking the bad boys? I feel like when they do and want to move onto things that matter, I'll probably be very much more well off with girls as long as I've worked myself out of this rut of life I've gotten myself into by then

I would be content with that if it's someone who actually still makes a good friend like she does. With very few people do I ever feel like I can actually just relax, but she is one of the few who I can. And that's what I want from my friends, just to escape from everything else that's hectic in life, I can't go to either of my main groups of friends now anymore without there being some kind of drama or somebody wanting to try to manipulate me into doing something I don't want to or casting their insecurities off on me.

I figure it would always be this way, people would rather keep giving chances out to people when they do fucked up things than to trim the fat. I have a very objective few on such things, a lot of people would be looking elsewhere for friends if I was significantly more assertive
