so thats what i've been doing wrong all these years....

So the girl that kissed me back in August texted me again a few nights ago and asked how I was and stuff and then I told her I got my car back and that we should do something some time and she said "Of course, just let me know whenever you want to hang" and then I said O.K. cool and she responded back with a smiley face.  She did that last time she texted me three weeks ago too, it's not something she ever used to do before now.  And she also could've just as easily never talked to me again, I haven't hung out with her one on one since August when I ultimately pissed her off and I haven't even hung out with any of our mutual friends in a few months either.

I still can't quite tell where she wants to go with this and I don't think I can just ask her because I already know from before that although she's one of the most logical girls I've ever met, she's still so much of a girl that she probably wouldn't tell me straight up if she liked me if I asked her and would want me to figure it out myself and just do everything without words, the way a guy is supposed to I guess.  Another girl told me this is probably her "testing the waters" which is good because it seems like she's at least considering it somewhat.  I don't think I can do this if it's just a friend thing, there's too many things I like about her to go back to how things were before and I know I still like her, but I'm assuming she took into account how much I liked her before she started talking to me again, she's not the kind of person to fuck with guys and I felt like there were reasons she kept coming around me one on one even through all of my bullshit back in Summer and then giving off what appeared to be mixed signals to me.  She'd even said on Twitter one time indirectly back then: "I might like you more if you would just do things instead of having to talk about it" which suited the situation perfectly

I just gotta hang out with her one of these days and see what's going on for myself

That's one of my biggest problems with making advances, I can't tell if they're receptive or not to it.

I really wanted to when she randomly decided to just sit down on my couch after we went grocery shopping one day.  I thought we were just gonna go straight to my friends house but she just sat on my couch like we were gonna hang out there and she was playin on her phone and I sat next to her and I wanted so badly to do something because I felt like she wanted me to by stayin there, just the two of us alone, but she wasn't looking up or giving off any signs that I knew of and I didn't want to push it and fuck up if she wasn't interested or I did it the wrong way.

That's what she would want though, me taking control
