That's not something I need to freaking plan out. That's like the first thing that pops into somebody's head when they're going to ask somebody out. Jaekus seems to me like he's saying he has some elaborate wording that will make it totally unrefusable.

maybe have an idea of what you'd like to do. you could invite her directly to that. with any luck she'll either say yes or say she's busy but then offer you a day that works. if she simply says "no, I'm busy, sorry" then she's not interested.

dinner and a movie always works if theres nothing else.

I know everyone here says movies are bad, but they aren't. They aren't very grown up though.

skating would be way better.  dinner youre trapped in a boring room and forced to make conversation, whereas a movie you cant even talk.  skating is fun and active and provides way more opportunities.

if youre going to do dinner, at least make it at somewhere unique or different.  i went to one where you eat in the complete dark served by blind waiters for one of my dates and she still says it was one of the most fun nights she's ever had.

lol not at all. It's more about seeing / creating mutual attraction and going from there. But always have a plan in mind, because if things go well and she says yes, then you need to do more than say "um, ah... where do you want to go?"

Well now it's too late but originally I had planned on asking her if she wanted to take a stroll down one of those streets where the houses have beautiful Christmas lights and then go get a coffee or something or coffee before w/e.

Now, I'm actually not too sure. There's a lot of good movies out, but that's a bad idea for a first date.

go to a fucking movie, fuck. Who cares if you dont get to know her, it gets the awkwardness out, and if shes attracted to you, she'll go out on another one. Its the whole point of going to a movie, to quench both party's first date jitters.

I don't know what you guys do in the states, but here in AU we don't go on dates with people if we don't think we'd date them a second time.

This is a gaming forum specifically about a freaking military game with military guns and military this that and the other. Don't be so surprised I talk about this stuff here. On the other message boards I post on I don't talk about that kind of stuff.
