what does being contaminated with any other drug have to do with anything? dude i'm a living example that you can mix all the most extreme, horrible, mind-altering drugs in the world and still stay out of hospital. on nye i was on about 4 different substances myself (excluding alcohol). i was still able-bodied and able-minded enough to have common sense to look after my gf and make sure she was okay. yet you assume the only way a person can be date-raped and not end up comatose or od'ing and dying is if a serious pharmaceutical expert administers the dose into her drink through a tea pipette? considering i have a lot of experience with illicit drugs and their effects, as well as knowing many dealers and shady characters that could supply me with drug(s) that have the potential to be used for date-rape... i'd say you're the one with no idea. add a second 'no idea' to that because of the obvious level of complet incomprehension you have from not actually being there. it was a shady club, full of lecherous cardiff scum. she's a good looking girl. she was approached several times that night. this stuff happens. i think your understanding of date-rape drugs is a bit off. they're not things that need to be mixed in in careful doses by an expert hand. it's just a general substance that will knock you off your feet for a few hours, preferably with short-term memory loss. there's plenty of 'em, and the lethal dosages on them are all quite high. we're not talking hospital general anaesthetics, here, or hardcore opioids.

lol, right. it was cardiff student union - i've never been before in my life, she's the one that's from cardiff. that reflects badly on me how, exactly? she hit a guy once in the face who was being out of order - that somehow reflects badly on me how, exactly? i put her to bed at my best friend's house, which is nearby to the union in cardiff, and checked on her every 30 minutes or so to make sure she had enough water and was comfortable... that reflects badly on me how, exactly? now either she did genuinely drink something contaminated with pigeon droppings that unfortunately fell on the potatoes that her vodka was distilled from, or someone put something nasty in her drink. either way, i spent all of my new year's day looking after her at her family home. she is now fine. i think you're really trying too hard, here.

So... My buddy called me this morning to tell me his wife is preggers. This means only myself and one other person from my main group of friends has yet to get on the baby train. Now the other guy still hasn't married his girl, and my wife and I have been married the longest. Needless to say, it made my wife have a conversation with me.

My ex had her drink spiked with GHB, she went to the doctor the next day to have a blood test and it was confirmed. She could take drugs and drink (not that she tooks drugs hardly at all) and be totally fine all night and into the following day. This particular night she had 4 drinks and started throwing up and could not talk.

Thanks, I'm sure it will all work out. I'm going to Sydney at the end of Jan and again in Feb, then most likely for a week and a half at the start of April, then she'll be up here for her sister's wedding at the end of April - start of May for about 9 days, so we'll see how we're going then.

Not open, we are doing the long distance thing as a couple. We know it will either result in one of us moving to live with the other or us breaking up but it's early days and that sort of dilemma is a long way off right now.

Good luck then. It does take a lot of work, I've been in two long term, long distance, relationships. It's worth it if it works out in the end.
