Exactly what one would expect from a die-hard Republican who thinks everyone who doesn't agree with him is a complete moron.

You do NOT patronize a presidential candidate - who's beating you! - on national TV, especially in times like these.
Ha! In times like these?  When have I bitched about them?  Patronize what?  Ob the backstreet boy??

*edit - Spark I don't find you at all a complete moron.
I was hyperbolising - it is the internet after all.

The 'that one' comment could easily be interpreted as contemptuous - and contempt never sits well with the undecided. You may not see these as bad times, but many do... and I'm sure I heard Obama propose tax cuts for the middle class.

Hm. Missed that, will watch again.

But yeah, IMO McCain blew a big opportunity here and probably have put his campaign just out of reach of the WH. That's not to say Obama's wrapped it up - he didn't exactly deliver any knockout blows either, but he didn't need to.

What's the budget balance there?

McCain won imho and all obama has is the same he is gwb and he is for tax breaks for ceos and oil companies. but what hes for is keeping the taxes the same, not cutting them,

I wish the candidates could be real instead of fake.  That debate was horrendous to watch - bickering back and forth, empty promises and false accusations...I want someone - anyone to just tell it like it is.  I am sick and tired of watching presidential elections that are more who can strategize better and come off as a better speaker.  I've seen these debates before - Bush/Gore in 2000, Bush/Kerry in 2004, Obama/McCain 2008.  I want something more than a RNC strategy vs. DNC strategy election choice.  The only difference I see is that Obama is not already ingratiated into the power elite - but by no means do I think is invincible to it if elected.

I can't believe people are fascinated or even argue about who won these pathetic excuses for debates.  They aren't debates.  They are more like a company or industry testing out new product to see how the consumer responds before making it widely available.  And people just eat it up.

I agree, that's about it for me as well; i.e. what appeals to me about Obama.

I am so sick of the pandering to morons they feel compelled to do (all of them: these two candidates included).
