At the end of the day, the Vietnamese were the ones who lost the Vietnam war. They lost it right when they started to be dicked around by the USSR + China and the USA and starting to believe their bullshit (instead of making their own bullshit), and believing in it enough to start killing each other.

You have 3 people in a room, 2 are brothers one is a complete stranger. That complete stranger manages to get the brothers to start fighting each other. Now who's the idiot here. Of course it's the two brothers. How could they be fooled like that. Absolute Morons. You see it all the time in Movies, and the general reaction from the populace is always that these people are idiots for fighting each other due to external forces. So why is the opinion different when it's on a large scale?

That's a good point actually. Think of how much wasted paper there would be lying around, dirty carpets, clogged up toilets and unclean space shuttles there would be without janitors at NASA.

To each and every one of those brave men and women America owes a huge debt of gratitude.

Why go to the US when you can have a potshot at people from the US on your own doorstep? 4000+ and counting. And if you really think the Iraq war is preventing someone from bombing a random location within the US then you have logic and reasoning issues.
This.

Besides... the Iraqis don't even fight, they just plant bombs and wait for jeeps to ride over them, as you should know.
you guys know they kill more arabs than US military personnel yes?

War is an effort that involves the entirety of a government's powers. Certain of those powers were remarkably successful (military), but that didn't make up for the complete ineptitude of the political side...so it was a loss.
