Creating a little cubby for it to tuck down into would likely muck with aero dynamics even more by creating a gap where airflow has to seperate from the body. Automated flaps and gizmos to cover it not only add complexity but kinda goes against the whole point of using so much CF.
Bottom line.... not exactly a cheap car, I am betting their engineers can do a better job of figuring out the issue then you or I.

Very pretty. I don't like the carbon fibre look of it though. I just don't like the look of carbon fibre (looks like the car is made out of corduroy), I'd prefer a nice smooth paint job - but lovely shape, even if it does look like it might be a bit light on downforce, like most Königseggs. Obviously built purely for some serious straight line speed.

Its not a racecar. Most companies who produce these types of cars port them from their racing line. This is a great example because it looks like some autistic engineer designed the dash buttons, obviously not knowing what looks right.
