...So this is where it gets fucked up. I pull up about 50 yards away observing her pulled next to this house. And then a blonde milfy looking woman and her FIVE YEAR OLD SON fucking get into the car. She does a Uturn and completely wipes out the curb and runs over a childs bicycle. I call back telling them there leaving the gate going west on the main street she was on a minute ago, I exclaim that she isn't drunk, but ABSOLUTELY shattered and she has a LITTLE BOY in the car, drinking WHILE driving. "okay im sending an update"...
Looks like the pulled her over after all...

Seal - why don't you write a letter to the ed of your local newspaper.  Also write the sheriff (do you guys have one?).  There are good and bad LEO's out there.  The majority are good.

I don't understand if you drove by a few cops during this that were doing noting but mulling about and eating....  Why didn't you pull over and tell one of them???? You talk loud enough so that a few others can hear you... . He/She would do something about it.  Don't talk to dispatch if you see a cop...

I would call their Internal Affairs/Professional Standards division...when I had my 'run in', I did the same thing and felt my case was handled appropriately.

I've called in drunk drivers and gave them street by street update, they never showed.

If you are upset by this story wait until you have to call the police to your home if someone is breaking in.
Anyone who depends on the police to come to their rescue, especially to save your life, is going to be in for a rude awaking some day. They are not required to protect you. They are required to protect society as a whole, not individuals. You best be prepared to protect yourself and your family..... because they may be too busy to show up.
