Anyone ever hear of them? They're kickass. My dad just told me he got 2 tickets for their December concert at Nassau Coliseum. I'm so pumped.

They're a Rock Orchestra and they do covers of famous holiday/christmas songs.

Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa (loljk) time is always my favorite. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible. I once spent the holidays in WDW and that was pretty incredible too. The holiday themed fireworks shows were incredible. But seeing these guys has been something I've been waiting for for a VERY long time now. I'm SO PUMPED!

Their music is great but the true experience is seeing them live. I've seen them live twice and the whole show is just amazing.

Fuck that shit. Their acoustics and electronics SUCK. The Coliseum's acoustics are actually good.

I've been to Billy Joel at MSG, Coldplay at the Coliseum, Bob Dylan at the Mohegan Sun arena and a bunch of others at Jones Beach.

Of all of those, the sound quality sucked the most at MSG.

That was only part of it! The guitars were incredible, the vocalists were insane, and the atmosphere was absolutely batshit crazy.

I know, I was pretty surprised considering how completely "meh" my camera tends to be.

I was going fucking crazy when he came out. I'm a HUUUUGE Aerosmith fan. The guy who leads what TSO used to be (Savatage) had come out after they finished the first half and said "don't leave now, if you do, you'll most likely be suicidal when you find out what you missed".

I thought it was Billy Joel at first because they had just donated a dollar from every ticket to a charity created by him and he's a Long Islander...but nope.

Almost each and every one of those lights hanging from the truss's is fully motorized, they can rotate 540 degrees in every direction, flash at 10hz, change colors on the fly, change shapes on the fly, and many other things.

Cost? $10 000+ EACH. I think one of the lighting designers said that there's something like 1000 of them available during the concert.

A lighting board capable of keeping track of processing and sending out a signal to control that many lights starts at $50 000.(For as basic as can physically possible)

Concert theatrics cost monies beyond the imagining of many people.
