So now what do I do? Pessimist said to pull out one of the cable clusters but I don't know which one and some of them don't seem like they can be pulled out. I already tried the small one on the right in the second pic but that didn't do anything.

Anyone know what to do?

Opening it may have voided the waranty.... Otherwise don't play in the componen if you don't know what ur doing...Just bring it to the store a tellem, if they don't want ask the manager etc... My friend changed 3 ipod: 1 washed, 1 broke for real, 1 got in toilet bowl.. And they changed to new gen each time since the other ones were no more available. So maybe ur going to get a bigger/better screen.

Second picture, the wider of the two plugs near the top, yoink it out, check it's OK and put it back in, be careful to make sure the connections line up and put it in the right way up they dont key the plugs so they do go in upside down if you aren't careful.

It's worth checking every connection though, don't be scared of anything, you wont die, despite what all the high voltage warnings may make you think, be a bit more careful around the inverter though, thats the one with the 6 outputs that go to the panel lamps.

EDIT: If it is totally fudged you can get some cash back by selling the inverter and power boards on eBay, they go for a decent cash usually.
